One child wants to draw a hero. Another wants to build something. Another wants to know how a story ends. In The Playground, each of those interests can be a way into learning.
Let your child choose one question below. There is no need to visit all five worlds today.
“What if I made a whole new world?”
Start in the Anime Universe. Draw a character, name a place they might visit, and ask what they hope to find there. Your child's own ideas can lead the story.
“What would I do if someone needed help?”
Visit the Superhero Universe. Design a hero whose most useful strength is something your child admires: listening, patience, courage, or imagination.
“Can I invent a better way?”
The Dream Big Universe is a place for curious questions. Pick an everyday object and ask how your child might change it to solve a small problem.
“What makes a good leader?”
Explore Royal Legacy. Think about a kind choice a leader could make today, then draw a crown with that word written on it.
“What happens if the player chooses another path?”
In the Gaming Universe, draw two routes through a made-up level. Let the player choose one and see where the story goes.
There are more doors, too. Storybook Lane welcomes a story, and Uncle TL Music gives families a chance to move and sing. Let your child lead for five minutes. Their favorite thing may be the best place to begin.
